Burlesque Lessons and Workshops
If you have seen the Burlesque film with Christina Aguilera, you may have fallen in love with the glamour, amazing costumes and make up and the dance routines of the burlesque world.
Why not give a Burlesque course a try!
Pole Confidence and our sister company www.viva-burlesque.co.uk offer burlesque taster sessions, workshops, courses (both group classes and private lessons) burlesque performances and burlesque parties.
You can book lessons on a week to week basis or book a six week course where you will learn specific moves and have the opportunity to put them together in a routine, we can even invite friends and family along at the end of the course for a proper finale (if you want!).
Viva Burlesque Lesson Venues
Your private lesson will take place either in our centre for the arts in East Grinstead or in my studio in Sompting, West Sussex. We can also come to you. We will quote to cover petrol/travel to your home or venue.
If you are a larger groups or would like a burlesque, we use larger local studios or hotels. We can also come to you, please email us for more information and costs.
Viva Burlesque Private Lesson Times
You can book your lesson to take place on Mondays - Fridays between 9am and 9pm or on Saturdays from 9am - 4pm subject to availability.
Private Burlesque Taster Sessions
Would you like to try before you buy? You can book a 45 minute private taster session (evening or daytime) from just £15.00 per person. Pay online and a Viva-Burlesque representative will contact you to arrange a lesson time.

Discounts are given for block bookings of 6 or more lessons (pre-payment required). 6 lesson courses are non refundable once the course has started. However, dates and times of the course can be changed with more than 48 hours notice. Lessons do not need to be taken every week and the course can be spread over several weeks.
To book/deposits and cancellations
To book your lesson, please pay a non-refundable deposit of £10.00. This is retained in case of no show or if a lesson is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. The balance is payable in your lesson by cash or cheque. If you need to cancel your lesson, the lesson can be rearranged if more than 24 hours notice is given (subject to availability).
Burlesque Workshops
If you want to learn some burlesque essentials in a fun, group atmosphere, you can book onto one of our Introduction to Burlesque Workshops. The next workshop is Saturday 10th March 2012 and the cost is £20.00 for two hours. You can also combine it with a two hour pole dancing taster session afterwards for £35.00 (saving £5.00). Burlesque dancing lessons can be arranged in Sompting, near Lancing, East Grinstead, Crawley, London, Tunbridge Wells and most towns within 20 miles from Gatwick or Brighton.
